Beugel Chair
Cassina introduces the Beugel Chair a versitile and functional statement piece by Gerrit Rietveld. The frame consists of twin loops of steel, way ahead of it's time for 1927 when the Dutch architect designed it. In Cassina's reissue, the frame tubing diameter was reduced by 3mm and the original fiberboard seat updated to laminated wood.

Hidden Garden
A site-specific installation, designed by the studio Pierattelli Architetture together with Vitra, Flos, Porcelanosa, to give visitors a space in which to recover their relationship with nature.
A space of 100 smq protected by a ring of panels that conceal it from the square outside, from which only glimpses and perspectives are allowed. The outside panels, made of Krion , are designed to be decorated by anyone. Drawings, murals and thoughts will find expression for one day, before being easily erased to leave room for new creations.

Preludia
Preludia is a collaboration between Carl Hansen & Son and American designer Brad Ascalon. Meeting today's need for functionality, quality, comfort and aesthetics, the seating is crafted from 3D wood veneer and is available bare, partially or fully upholstered with the finest textiles and leathers. The table series is available in both dining and bar heights with solid wood frames, and is offered with round, square and rectangular laminate tabletops.

Typecasting
The exhibition ‘Typecasting’ offers a new view of Vitra. In the spacious Pelota arena, a panoramic display of around 200 objects portrays the past, present and future of ‘Project Vitra’. Robert Stadler, who curated and designed the show, emphasises the social role of furniture – and of chairs in particular – as a key theme.
